The Orchard Blog

I am constantly amazed at what God is doing at The Orchard.  I can’t remember when a week has gone by in the last several months and one of our staff hasn’t recieved an email or phone call from someone telling a story or making a comment about how God has used this church community to positively impact their lives. 
 
There is nothing that fires me up more than seeing and/or hearing these stories.  Wives telling us how much their former “non-church going” husbands are enjoying attending our worship gatherings, couples sharing how their marriage has been positively impacted by better decision making since attending OVCC, spiritual seekers who feel safe and accepted every time they walk into the church doors as they drag their doubts, questions and fears behind them. 
 
And even beyond all of that - hearing about people who are turning control of their lives over to Christ NEVER EVER gets old.  Every time I hear someone tell me things like, “I think I’m starting to get it” or “I decided to take the plunge.”  No words can describe it. 
 
So to everyone who is a part of the Orchard Team (staff, volunteers, leaders, etc…) your hard work and sacrifice is paying off.  People ARE being led into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
