This month in Wahabu Land, we are bringing “ORDER TO THE COURT” as we study the virtue of ORDERLINESS- arranging things to make your day easier.

Orderliness is probably not high on the list of importance for most children. It’s probably even harder for them to grasp the idea that it could possibly be important to God. After all, it seems He might ignore something as mundane as orderliness and focus solely on more “spiritual” things, like love and kindness. This month our goal is to bust that myth and make the point that God IS concerned with orderliness.

God is a God of order, not chaos. He’s such an advocate of orderliness that He created ORDER from CHAOS. Because we’re made in His image, we, too, function most effectively in orderly environments. So placing importance on orderliness is for our benefit. We’re able to function at our highest level and change the world around us. Even better, we’re able to give praise to God, the Creator, for the “wildly wonderful world” (Psalm 104:24, MSG) that He crafted from “a soup of nothingness” (Genesis 1:1, MSG).

Our memory verse this month comes from Ephesians 5:15-16 (NIrV): “So be very careful how you live. Do not live like people who aren’t wise. Live like people who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity.”
