UNIQUENESS – November’s Virtue by orchardblog

Each month, our 1st – 6th graders learn a new virtue. The verse for that month and each week’s Bible lesson relate to that virtue.

This month’s virtue is UNIQUENESS.

The memory is:

There are different kinds of gifts. But they are all given by the same Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 12:4, NIrV

Your kids need to understand that there isn’t a cookie cutter mold for the perfect person…it’s okay to be different. God can choose anybody He wants, no matter how weird or insignificant they think they are, to have a part in His big plan.

God loves uniqueness. You can tell because he never picks the people you’d quite expect to do His work!

God wants us to recognize our own uniqueness. Why? Because He created us for a unique purpose.

Isn’t good to know that we can be ourselves instead of trying to fit into that cookie cutter mold?

This month, talk about how God has given each of us gifts. Intentionally point out and thank God for your child’s unique gifts and abilities!

That is great to hear. We have been trying to encourage our boys to be bold and courageous, to not be afraid to stand out and to walk in the specific calling/gifts that God has for them.
I didn’t know about this blog before. My head must have been in the sand. Thanks for pulling it out! Thanks for all you do for our kids!
