How to sign up for Orchard’s Week of Prayer Rhythms

To sign up for Orchard’s week of Prayer Rhythms:

  1. Sign up for a twitter account to receive text reminders to your cell phone (your cell company’s text rates apply per your plan). Go to http://twitter.com to create a free user account. Enter a username of your choice, a password and email address.
  2. Turn on device updates to your phone or texting device. Select “Add Device” on the right side of the screen. Enter your mobile phone number and check the box that says it’s ok for Twitter to send texts to your phone. Follow the instructions to verify your account.
  3. Follow the Orchard’s twitter. Once you have a twitter account, search at the top for “theorchard”. Then select “follow” and “turn on device updates”. You will now receive updates to your mobile device when theorchard posts reminders to the blog.

If you have a web enabled phone or text device, you will be sent a link to the blog post that contains the prayer. If your device is not web enabled, use the twitter reminder to go to a computer, open up the Orchard blog and go through the prayer exercise.

if you are not able, or do not wish to receive text messages on your cell phone, you may go directly to the Orchard blog three times daily to view the appropriate prayers.
