Hey everyone –

I am really looking forward to Wednesday night’s monthly gathering that we call First Wednesday. Every month we gather as a church community to worship through song, through scripture, and sometimes even through silence. It’s going to be a great night and I hope you are planning on joining us.

We will gather at 7pm. There will be no childcare, but we encourage you to worship together as a family.

Hope you can join us!

The story of Jason McElwain is amazing…

Jason is an autistic high school kid from Rochester, NY who was a coach’s assistant for the high school basketball team during his four years in high school. And at the team’s final game of the season, the coach let him wear the team’s jersey – and then…actually let him into the game!

What’s amazing is what happened after that.

Watch the story here.

Hey everyone, it’s Amber here!

Okay so there are a TON of you out there that I still haven’t had the privilege of meeting! You’re new to The Orchard as of the last few months. I’ve seen you several times, you seem really nice, but I still haven’t met you!

Come to Connecting Point this Sunday!

I would be delighted to meet you, and I know you’ll enjoy getting to know our staff, a little more about your church, and meeting a few others who regularly attend The Orchard.

Connecting Point is only about 45 minutes. It’s casual, very laidback, and best of all you don’t have to do anything but show up! (And your kids are welcome to come too!) You’ll receive some FREE “stuff” at CP – a cd, info about The Orchard and how to get plugged in, a few surprises that I won’t ruin, plus some great snacks and coffee!

Join us in Room 102 following 2nd service this Sunday, at 12:15pm. You won’t want to miss this great opportunity of connecting with others in your church community!

I’m looking forward to meeting you!

Hello everyone! As you can probably see, we have made some changes to the Orchard Blog!

For starters, we’ve decided to begin blogging again! 🙂 It’s been a long time since you’ve seen a post and we are pretty sure that the handful or two of you who read this are just BEGGING for some more great content from INSIDE the Orchard!

Ok – that was cheezy…

Anyway… A lot has been going on around here these past few weeks. We are getting ready to unveil something pretty cool in a few weeks (which you’ll find out more about this coming weekend!!) The only hint I can give you is: CAFFEINE! Stay tuned!

This past Sunday we launched our new series entitled, “BLING! BLING!” where we’re journeying through the scriptures to see what God has to say about our money and material possessions! And in case you were one of the many who were out of town due to the holiday weekend, you can download last weekend’s talk by going to our Orchard Podcast page here.

If you get a chance, shoot us a quick comment (by clicking below) to let us know that you are still there!

Have a great week – see you Sunday!

Hey Orchard-ers,

I need your help…

Do you have a story of how you went from facing a major financial challenge (perhaps massive credit card debt or even something as challenging at bankruptcy) and how after turning to the Bible and applying God’s way of doing things, you saw a significant turnaround in the area of finances?

If so, shoot me an email by clicking here! I’d love to hear your story and share with you how your story could be used to help encourage others who are in need of a financial turnaround in their lives.

Thank you!

Scott
